SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Frank A. Mansfield of Harvard, who passed 
4away on January 3, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Frank Mansfield was born on January 22, 1944 in 
6Woodstock; his parents were Robert and Harriet (nee Carr) 
7Mansfield; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Frank Mansfield served as a member of the United 
9States Army during the Vietnam War; he was a recipient of a 
10Purple Heart for his service; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Frank Mansfield worked for many years as a farmer; 
12he also worked as an electrician for Blue Ribbon Electric in 
13Harvard and worked for H & E Sod Nursery; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Frank Mansfield enjoyed riding his motorcycle; 
15and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Frank Mansfield is survived by his wife, Susan; 
17his children, Kim (Skip) Garlick and Shawn (Anne) Mansfield; 
18his grandchildren, Dalton and Kattie Garlick and Payton 
19Mansfield; his step-children, William and Mark Nolan; his 
20step-grandson, Sam; and his siblings, Russell (Fran)

1Mansfield, Howard (Mary) Mansfield, John Mansfield, and Pat 
2Cervantes; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
5family and friends, mourn the passing of Frank A. Mansfield; 
6and be it further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to the family of Frank Mansfield as an expression of 
9our sympathy.
