SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Sally L. Johnson (nee Logan) of Park 
4Ridge, who passed away on December 16, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Sally Johnson was born in Burlington, Iowa on 
6March 1, 1938 to Mr. and Mrs. Richard W. Logan; she graduated 
7Mediapolis High School in Mediapolis, Iowa and from The 
8Burlington Hospital School of  Nursing; she married Kenneth J. 
9Johnson in 1960; and
  
 
  
10    WHEREAS, Sally Johnson enjoyed gardening, decorating, 
11traveling, cooking, and is remembered as fun-loving and 
12generous; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Sally Johnson was preceded in death by her 
14husband, Kenneth; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Sally Johnson was the mother of Brian (Maria), 
16Douglas (Pam), and Laura (Steffen) Mueller; the grandmother of 
17Eric, Kaytah, Savannah, Zack, Bradley, Eleni, Lucy, and Bode; 
18and sister to Ralph Logan, Dolores Mitchell, Janet Wilson, 
19Marilyn Johnson, and Patricia Karwatowicz; therefore, be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
2Sally L. Johnson, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
3family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it

5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Sally Johnson as an expression of 
7our deepest sympathy.
