SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Sandra Lynn Gidley (nee Turner); and
  
 
4    WHEREAS, Sandra Gidley was born on April 6, 1941; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Sandra Gidley worked in non-profits most of her 
6career; she started with the American Medical Association and 
7worked as Director of Operations of the Chicagoland Chamber of 
8Commerce; she founded the Gidley Management Group, which 
9services non-profit business associations; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Sandra Gidley enjoyed playing poker and won many 
11tournaments; and

  
 
12    WHEREAS, Sandra Gidley was the beloved wife of the late 
13Vernon "Bud"; the loving mother of Susan (Phil Timberman) 
14Gidley, Sheila (Randy Madl) Gidley, and Debbie Gidley; 
15"Sangema" to Alex and Brian Madl; the dear sister to Diana (the 
16late John) Kollaritsch; the loving friend to Betty, Nancy and 
17the Plancon Family; and fond aunt to many nieces and nephews; 
18therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

1Sandra Lynn Gidley, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
2family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
