SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Edward P. Schroeder of Crystal Lake, who 
4passed away on January 6, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Edward Schroeder was born on April 12, 1944 in 
6Chicago; his parents were Edward and Dorthea (nee Brunke) 
7Schroeder; he married Patricia Menge on October 9, 1976; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Edward Schroeder served in the United States 
9Marine Corps from 1968 to 1970; during his stint in the Marine 
10Corps, he was stationed in Kansas City, Missouri; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Edward Schroeder enjoyed hunting and fishing, 
12especially at his cabin in Manitowish Waters, Wisconsin, and 
13spending time with his family; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Edward Schroeder was preceded in death by his 
15parents; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Edward Schroeder is survived by his wife, Patricia 
17Schroeder; his children, Ryan (Julie) Schroeder, Jason (Tom) 
18Schroeder, Chris (Cori Molenda) Schroeder, and Tracy (Sean) 
19Pederson; his brother, Keith (Mary) Schroeder; his sister, 
20Susan (Jesse) Thomas; and his grandchildren, Landon, Charlie,

1and Holden Pederson; therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
4family and friends, mourn the passing of Edward P. Schroeder; 
5and be it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Edward Schroeder as an expression of 
8our sympathy.
