SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Rita C. (nee Wilton) Hagerty, who passed 
4away on January 5, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Rita Hagerty was born on February 12, 1914 to 
6Harry and Isabelle (nee O'Brien) Wilton; and
  
 

  
7    WHEREAS, Rita Hagerty was preceded in death by her parents; 
8her sister, Isabelle Peterson; and her brother, William Wilton; 
9and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Rita Hagerty was the beloved wife of the late 
11James J. Hagerty; the loving mother of James (Maureen), Maryann 
12Bobor, Margarita Holmes, Patrick, Raymond, Thomas (Nancy), 
13Michael, and the late Baby James and Baby Patrick; the 
14cherished grandmother of 17; the proud great-grandmother of 28; 
15and sister to Harry J. Wilton; therefore, be it
  
 
16    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
17ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
18Rita C. Hagerty, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
19family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
