| 2 | | WHEREAS, On May 30, 2013 the Senate adopted Senate |
| 3 | | Resolution 338, creating the Senate Advisory Committee on |
| 4 | | Healthcare, consisting of 6 members, appointed as follows: 3 |
| 5 | | members of the Senate majority caucus, appointed by the |
| 6 | | President of the Senate, and 3 members of the Senate minority |
| 7 | | caucus, appointed by the Senate Minority Leader; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, The responsibility of the Senate Advisory |
| 9 | | Committee on Healthcare to study public healthcare will measure |
| 10 | | the impact of public healthcare on a broad range of communities |
| 11 | | across the State, requiring additional members to be appointed |
| 12 | | to the Committee to ensure adequate representation and |
| 13 | | engagement; therefore, be it
|
| 14 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL |
| 15 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that the membership of the |
| 16 | | Senate Advisory Committee on Healthcare is expanded from 6 |
| 17 | | members to 8 members, with the additional members to be |
| 18 | | appointed as follows: 1 member of the Senate majority caucus, |
| 19 | | appointed by the President of the Senate, and 1 member of the |
| 20 | | Senate minority caucus, appointed by the Senate Minority |
| 21 | | Leader; and be it further
