| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Greg McCoy of Woodstock, who passed away |
| 4 | | on October 4, 2013; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Greg McCoy was born on March 9, 1951; his parents |
| 6 | | were Robert K. and Modelle (Medlar) McCoy; he married Tricia |
| 7 | | Burden in Woodstock in 1977; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Greg McCoy was a master craftsman; he was the |
| 9 | | owner and operator of the Greg McCoy Glass Studio, where he |
| 10 | | created original stained glass architectural pieces and |
| 11 | | restored antique lampshades and windows; he was most proud of |
| 12 | | his work in restoring the Tiffany Mermaid window in the Field |
| 13 | | Museum in Chicago; he was also associated with Rich's |
| 14 | | Incredible Pyro as a special effects pyro technician for over |
| 15 | | 16 years; and
|
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Greg McCoy had a great love for boating and |
| 17 | | enjoyed spending time at his cottage in Lake Geneva; and
|
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Greg McCoy was preceded in death by his parents; |
| 19 | | and
|
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Greg McCoy is survived by his wife of 36 years, |
