SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Frank Loquidis of Waukegan, who passed 
4away on July 21, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Frank Loquidis was born on November 23, 1922 in 
6North Chicago; he married May Leivick on June 14, 1946 in 
7Waukegan; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Frank Loquidis served his country as a member of 
9the United States Navy during World War II; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Frank Loquidis was a member of the Waukegan 
11American Legion Post #281, where he served as a Past Commander 
12and District Commander; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Frank Loquidis retired from Sealtest Dairy after 
1430-plus years of faithful service; he also retired from 
15Zion-Benton Township High School; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Frank Loquidis was preceded in death by his wife, 
17May, and his son, Pat; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Frank Loquidis is survived by his children, Carol 
19(James) Hinch, Frank (Cindy) Loquidis, Shirley Olsen, Tim

1Loquidis, and Dawn Ochoa; his 6 grandchildren; his 3 
2great-grandchildren; and his nieces, nephews, and other family 
3members; therefore, be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
6family and friends, mourn the passing of Frank Loquidis; and be 
7it further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to the family of Frank Loquidis as an expression of 
10our sympathy.
