| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Peter Mayer; and
|
| 4 | | WHEREAS, Peter Mayer worked for several local newspapers |
| 5 | | over the years; he was a long-time member of and advocate for |
| 6 | | the Niles Chamber of Commerce and Industry where he served on |
| 7 | | the Board of Directors for many years, and he was a friendly |
| 8 | | face in the business community; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Peter Mayer was the beloved husband of Marlene |
| 10 | | (nee Null); loving father of David (Cheryl) Mayer, Tracie |
| 11 | | (Chad) Ericksen, and the late Bethie; and dear grandfather of |
| 12 | | Taylor and Tiffanie Ericksen, Hisa Clark, and Michael |
| 13 | | Halvorsen; therefore, be it
|
| 14 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL |
| 15 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 16 | | Peter Mayer, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, |
| 17 | | friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
|
| 18 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 19 | | presented to the family of Peter Mayer as an expression of our |
| 20 | | deepest sympathy.
