SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Robert Dale "Bob" Johnson of Bullhead, 
4Arizona, formerly of Bloomington, who passed away on May 23, 
52013; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Robert Johnson was born on December 16, 1929, in 
7Bloomington; he married Joanne Morey Berenz on October 11, 
81961; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Robert Johnson was the owner of Bob Johnson's 
10Restaurant for 35 years; he was also a business partner of 
11Dennison Ford Toyota; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Following his retirement, Robert Johnson enjoyed 
13traveling in his RV; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Robert Johnson was a member of Mohammed Shrine 
15Temple and was Potentate in 1983; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Robert Johnson was preceded in death by his wife, 
17Joanne; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Robert Johnson is survived by his children, Robert 
19(Valery) Johnson, Dean Berenz, Henry (Julie) Berenz, Leighia

1(Greg) Cleary, Peggy Johnson, Karyn (Michael, Sr.) 
2Hasselbring, Karol (Patt) Johnson, Margery (John) Clark, and 
3Elizabeth (Don) Gohl; his sister, Betty Moore; his many 
4grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his loving 
5companion, Tine Wicklund; therefore, be it
  
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
8his family and friends, the passing of Robert Dale "Bob" 
9Johnson; and be it further
  
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
11presented to the family of Robert Johnson as an expression of 
12our sympathy.
