SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Janet DellaValle of Waukegan, who passed 
4away on June 7, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Janet DellaValle was born on July 8, 1930, in West 
6Frankford to James and Millie (Levanti) Lolli; she graduated 
7from Highland Park High School in 1948; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Janet DellaValle enjoyed a career as a beautician; 
9and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Janet DellaValle was actively involved in her 
11community and was a member of the Park Place Senior Center; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Janet DellaValle was preceded in death by her 
13parents; her husband of 55 years, John; and her daughter, 
14Jacqueline Carlander; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Janet DellaValle is survived by her son, James 
16(Cheryl Penzik) DellaValle; her daughter, Jeanne (Gary) 
17Gotkowski; her son-in-law, Mitch Carlander; her grandchildren, 
18Megan and Brittany Carlander, Jenna, Jake, Jamie, and Jillian 
19DellaValle, and Jaclyn, Rebecca, and Trevor Gotkowski; her 
20great-grandchild, Sawyer Nicholas; her brother, Bill Lolli;

1and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her beloved 
2dog, Susie; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
5Janet DellaValle, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
6family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
7further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to the family of Janet DellaValle as an expression of 
10our deepest sympathy.
