SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Margaret "Peggy" Ann Hilyard, who passed 
4away on June 8, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Margaret Hilyard was born on July 15, 1935, in 
6Bunker Hill; her parents were Lawrence Albert and Elizabeth 
7"Bess" Bond Noel; she married James Ray Hilyard on May 30, 
81953, in Bunker Hill; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Margaret Hilyard was a homemaker and a member of 
10the Bunker Hill Lions Club; she loved flowers, taking care of 
11family and friends, and baking; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Margaret Hilyard was preceded in death by her 
13parents; her grandchildren, Jon Hilyard and Josh Hilyard; her 
14sisters, Bernice Bond and Sandra Jean Rose; and her brother, 
15Lawrence Noel Jr.; and

  
 
16    WHEREAS, Margaret Hilyard is survived by her husband, 
17James; her daughter, Mary Ann Hicks (Terry); her son, Dennis 
18Hilyard; her grandchildren, Matt Hilyard (Lori), Jasen 
19Hilyard, Jake Hilyard, Ashley Archibee-Hadley (Michael), and 
20Aaron Archibee; her great-grandchildren, Maddy Hilyard, Masen 
21Hilyard, Jeremiah Hilyard, and Jalena Hilyard; her sister,

1Rosemary Woods; and her brothers, Russell "Buzzy" Noel (Anita) 
2and Marshall "Slim" Noel (Ginger); therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
5her family and friends, the passing of Margaret "Peggy" Ann 
6Hilyard; and be it further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to the family of Margaret Hilyard as an expression of 
9our sympathy.
