SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Jennifer Sue "Jenny" (nee Ivers) Rethorn 
4of Jerseyville, who passed away on May 11, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Jennifer Rethorn was born on March 23, 1971, in 
6Jerseyville to William and Rosemary (nee Blasa) Ivers; she 
7attended Kane Grade School and graduated in 1988 from Jersey 
8Community High School in Jerseyville; she earned her bachelor 
9of arts in psychology from Blackburn College in Carlinville; 
10and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Jennifer Rethorn worked at Whites Greenhouse and 
12Nursery in Godfrey and was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in 
13Jerseyville; and
  
 
  
14    WHEREAS, Jennifer Rethorn was preceded in death by her 
15grandparents, Ward and Elma Ivers and Fred and Lillian Blasa; 
16and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Jennifer Rethorn is survived by her parents; her 
18son, Koty Rethorn; her daughter, Kathrine Rose Perkins; and her 
19sisters, Patricia "Trish" Ivers and Kelly (Jim) Little; 
20therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Jennifer Rethorn, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Jennifer Rethorn as an expression of 
8our deepest sympathy.
