SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  William K. Siglar, who passed away on 
4April 25, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, William Siglar was born on October 13, 1930, in 
6Nebo; his parents were Guy and Alice Lee Siglar; he married the 
7former Lillian Fessler on February 8, 1952, in Pocahontas, 
8Arkansas; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, William Siglar served his country with pride as a 
10member of the United States Air Force for 21 years; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, William Siglar served as a postal clerk with the 
12United States Postal Service until his retirement; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, William Siglar was a member of Wood River Masonic 
14Lodge No. 1062, East Alton American Legion Post 794, Wood River 
15VFW Post 2859, and Wood River Moose Lodge 1349; and
 
16    WHEREAS, William Siglar was preceded in death by his 
17parents and his sister, Joyce Willeford; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, William Siglar is survived by his wife; his sons, 
19Bill Siglar, Dallas Siglar, and Joey Siglar; his daughter,

1Linda M. Siglar; his grandchildren, Joni Ann, Christopher, and 
2Tammy Siglar; his great-grandchildren, Ryan and April Siglar, 
3Damion Lindsay, and Ariana Lavigne; and his many nieces and 
4nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
7his family and friends, the passing of William K. Siglar; and 
8be it further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to the family of William Siglar as an expression of 
11our sympathy.
