SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Joseph A. Barron  Jr. of Granite City, who 
4passed away on March 27, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Joseph Barron Jr. was born on April 17, 1939, in 
6East St. Louis, to Jose A. and Ramona (nee Bernal-Rivera) 
7Barron Sr.; he married Mary L. Ortiz on November 7, 1959, in 
8Fairmont City; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Joseph Barron Jr. owned and operated Employer 
10Services Company in the metro East St. Louis area for over 30 
11years; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Joseph Barron Jr. was of the Catholic faith and a 
13past president of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Joseph Barron Jr. was preceded in death by his 
15parents and his brothers, Hector and Marcos Barron; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Joseph Barron Jr. is survived by his wife, Mary; 
17his daughter, Linda M. Barron; his sons, Joseph A. (Kathy) 
18Barron III, David A. Barron, Phillip A. Barron, James A. 
19(Briget) Barron, and Mark A. Barron; his grandchildren, Joseph 
20James Barron and Suzanne Rich; his great-grandson, Jak

1Buckingham; his brother, Carlos (Shirley) Barron; his sisters, 
2Marie Dolores Barron Johnson, Elvira Barron, and Diana Barron; 
3and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and close 
4friends; therefore, be it
  
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
7Joseph Barron Jr., and we extend our sincere condolences to his 
8family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
9further
  
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
11presented to the family of Joseph Barron Jr. as an expression 
12of our deepest sympathy.
