SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Jewell L. Rosson of Anna, who passed away 
4on March 13, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Jewell Rosson was born on October 26, 1931, in 
6Wolf Lake; her parents were Ogle A. and Florence L. Vincent 
7Miller; she married Glenn R. Rosson on January 5, 1962, in 
8Mound City; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Jewell Rosson was employed at GTE for 25 years; 
10she later worked at Anna-Jonesboro National Bank from 1972 to 
112012; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Jewell Rosson was a member of Anna Heights Baptist 
13Church; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Jewell Rosson was preceded in death by her 
15parents; her husband, Glenn; her stepsons, Ron and Jerry 
16Rosson; and her sisters, Evelyn Miller and Arlene Poe; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Jewell Rosson is survived by her sisters, Shirley 
18Almond and Patricia (Wayne) Stephenson; her daughter-in-law, 
19Joyce Rosson; her nieces, Richie (Richard) Holden, Dana 
20(Charles) Cavaness, Carla Haug, and Christi (Mark) Hankins; her

1nephews, Cameron Stephenson and Matt and Tyler Bond; her 
2great-nephews, Nathan Holden, Allen Cavaness, Rick Williams, 
3and Wesley Haug; and her other relatives and friends; 
4therefore, be it
  
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
7her family and friends, the passing of Jewell L. Rosson; and be 
8it further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to the family of Jewell Rosson as an expression of 
11our sympathy.
