SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Jerry J. Johnson of Waukegan, who passed 
4away on December 27, 2012; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Jerry Johnson was born on August 25, 1936, in 
6Waukegan; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Jerry Johnson retired from Commonwealth Edison 
8after over 25 years of employment; he was a veteran of the U.S. 
9Navy and former member of the Solo Society in Barrington; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Jerry Johnson enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being 
11a foster parent to children for many years; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Jerry Johnson was preceded in death by his 
13parents; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Jerry Johnson is survived by his life partner of 
1515 years, Lois Adams; his daughter, Deborah (Clayton) Scales; 
16his sons, Kevin (Missy) Johnson and Gregory Johnson; and his 6 
17grandchildren; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
