| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Peter Michaels, who passed away on |
| 4 | | January 24, 2013; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Peter Michaels was a well-respected and decorated |
| 6 | | officer in the Waukegan Police Department; he was also a member |
| 7 | | of HAPA; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Peter Michaels was the husband of Tina; the loving |
| 9 | | father of Christina and Gabriella Michaels; the devoted son of |
| 10 | | John and Elizabeth Michaels; the dear brother of Angelo (Sofia) |
| 11 | | and Steven (Elizabeth) Michaels; the fond uncle of Gianna, |
| 12 | | Brandyn, Marissa, Elizabeth, Patricia, John, and Dimitri; and |
| 13 | | the beloved nephew, cousin, and friend of many; therefore, be |
| 14 | | it

| 15 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL |
| 16 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
| 17 | | his family and friends, the passing of Peter Michaels; and be |
| 18 | | it further

| 19 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 20 | | presented to the family of Peter Michaels as an expression of |
| 21 | | our sympathy.
