| 1 | | afforded under this subsection (n) who provides direct patient |
| 2 | | care in Illinois shall file a report with the Department as |
| 3 | | determined by rule. The report shall be in a form and manner |
| 4 | | designated by the Department and shall include without |
| 5 | | limitation the name, address, social security number, and |
| 6 | | current licensure information of the nurse and any other |
| 7 | | information deemed necessary by the Department, as defined by |
| 8 | | rule. The Department may revoke or limit the multistate |
| 9 | | licensure privilege of any practical nurse to practice in |
| 10 | | Illinois necessary to protect the health and safety of the |
| 11 | | public.

| 12 | | (o) A practical nurse licensed by a party state under the |
| 13 | | Nurse Licensure Compact under Article 80 of this Act shall be |
| 14 | | denied the privilege to practice by the Department if he or |
| 15 | | she: (1) has been convicted of a criminal act that requires |
| 16 | | registration under the Sex Offender Registration Act; (2) has |
| 17 | | been convicted of a criminal battery against any patient in the |
| 18 | | course of patient care or treatment, including any offense |
| 19 | | based on sexual conduct or sexual penetration; (3) has been |
| 20 | | convicted of a forcible felony; (4) is required as a part of a |
| 21 | | criminal sentence to register under the Sex Offender |
| 22 | | Registration Act; or (5) is convicted of any other crime or |
| 23 | | engages in any conduct that would be grounds for discipline |
| 24 | | under subsection (a) of Section 2105-165 of the Department of |
| 25 | | Professional Regulation Law of the Civil Administrative Code of |
| 26 | | Illinois. |

| 1 | | (p) Each practical nurse licensed by a party state under |
| 2 | | the Nurse Licensure Compact under Article 80 of this Act who |
| 3 | | intends to provide direct patient care in this State shall be |
| 4 | | subject to the requirements of Section 50-35 of this Act and |
| 5 | | shall have his or her fingerprints submitted to the Department |
| 6 | | of State Police in accordance with the requirements of Section |
| 7 | | 50-35. Fingerprints shall be submitted within 60 days prior to |
| 8 | | practice in this State."; and

| 9 | | by replacing line 16 on page 46 through line 9 on page 48 with |
| 10 | | the following: |
| 11 | | "(n) A registered nurse licensed by a party state under the |
| 12 | | Nurse Licensure Compact under Article 80 of this Act is granted |
| 13 | | the privilege to practice registered nursing in this State. The |
| 14 | | employer of a registered nurse exercising the practice |
| 15 | | privilege afforded under this subsection (n) who provides |
| 16 | | direct patient care in Illinois shall file a report with the |
| 17 | | Department as determined by rule. The report shall be in a form |
| 18 | | and manner designated by the Department and shall include |
| 19 | | without limitation the name, address, social security number, |
| 20 | | and current licensure information of the nurse and any other |
| 21 | | information deemed necessary by the Department, as defined by |
| 22 | | rule. The Department may revoke or limit the multistate |
