| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3144 as follows:

| 3 | | on page 3, line 19, by replacing "A licensed truck stop |
| 4 | | establishment may operate up to 10 video gaming terminals on |
| 5 | | its premises at any time." with "A licensed truck stop |
| 6 | | establishment that is located within 3 road miles from a |
| 7 | | freeway interchange, as measured in accordance with the |
| 8 | | Illinois Department of Transportation's rules regarding the |
| 9 | | criteria for the installation of business signs, and that sells |
| 10 | | at retail more than 50,000 gallons of diesel or biodiesel fuel |
| 11 | | per month may operate up to 10 video gaming terminals on its |
| 12 | | premises at any time. A licensed truck stop establishment may |
| 13 | | meet the fuel sales requirement by showing that estimated |
| 14 | | future sales or past sales average at least 50,000 gallons per |
| 15 | | month. All other licensed truck stop establishments may operate |
| 16 | | no more than 5 video gaming terminals at any time.".
