AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2257




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2257 on page 17, 
3line 15, after "limitation", by inserting "defined in this 
4Section"; and


 
5on page 17, line 17, by replacing "Act" with "Law"; and
 
6on page 25, line 22, by replacing "referenda approval after 
7January" with "referendum approval on or after January"; and
 
8on page 26, by replacing lines 7 and 8 with the following:
9"Illinois, be increased by (insert the amount of increase 
10sought) for levy year...(insert the levy"; and
 
11on page 26, by replacing lines 16 through 19 with the 
12following:
13        ""(1)  The amount of taxes extended which were subject 
14    to the Property Tax Cap (Property Tax Extension Limitation

1    Law) in levy year (insert most recent levy year) was
