| 4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Insurance Code is amended by |
| 5 | | changing Section 500-5 as follows:

| 7 | | (Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2017)

| 8 | | Sec. 500-5. Scope of Article. This Article applies to all |

insurance companies as
defined in this Code. |

licensed |

Section 445 except as provided in Section 500-40 |
