| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives are pleased to recognize Rock Valley College |
| 4 | | basketball players LT Davis and Jared Mayes, and head coach, |
| 5 | | Craig Doty on their awards and recognitions received during |
| 6 | | Rock Valley College's 2013-2014 national championship season; |
| 7 | | and

| 8 | | WHEREAS, LT Davis was named All-Conference (2nd Team), |
| 9 | | All-Region (1st Team), and the National Junior College Athletic |
| 10 | | Association (NJCAA) Tournament Most Valuable Player; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Jared Mayes was named All-Conference (1st Team), |
| 12 | | All-Region (1st Team), and to the NJCAA All-Tournament Team; |
| 13 | | and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Head Coach Craig Doty was named the Don Klaas |
| 15 | | Region IV Coach of the Year, the District 2 Coach of the Year, |
| 16 | | and the Gary S. Cole NJCAA Division III Coach of the |
| 17 | | Tournament; and
|
| 18 | | WHEREAS, The leadership that these players and their head |
| 19 | | coach displayed was invaluable to Rock Valley College's 2014 |
