| 2 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 3 | | NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 4 | | the House Museums, Arts, & Cultural Enhancement Committee is |
| 5 | | directed to hold hearings and issue an Illinois Arts and |
| 6 | | Cultural Attendance and Funding Report to review the issues and |
| 7 | | facts that affect Illinois arts and cultural attendance and |
| 8 | | funding; and be it further
|
| 9 | | RESOLVED, That the Committee shall visit all regions of the |
| 10 | | State, hold hearings, and receive testimony on all State and |
| 11 | | Local Government funding as well as any private funding of arts |
| 12 | | and cultural events within the State; the committee shall also |
| 13 | | review the attendance at various art and cultural venues, |
| 14 | | educational programming throughout the State, and the economic |
| 15 | | impact that arts and cultural venues provide to Illinois; and |
| 16 | | be it further
|
| 17 | | RESOLVED, That the Committee shall submit a report on its |
| 18 | | findings and any recommendations to the General Assembly by |
| 19 | | January 1, 2015.
