HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Rev. 
4Lorenzo Alexander of Chicago, who passed away on June 4, 2013; 
5and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Rev. Lorenzo Alexander was born on December 8, 
71967, to Rev. Marvin E. and Sadie Alexander; he graduated from 
8South Shore High School and served in the U.S. Navy; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Rev. Lorenzo Alexander worked as a certified 
10cardiologist assistant; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Rev. Lorenzo Alexander was the minister at Union 
12Missionary Baptist Church since February 1994; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Rev. Lorenzo Alexander enjoyed music, singing, 
14and cooking; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Rev. Lorenzo Alexander is survived by his wife, 
16Yushumic Shemika Alexander and his son, Jeremiah Alexander; 
17therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
19NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that

1we mourn the passing of Rev. Lorenzo Alexander, and extend our 
2sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew 
3and loved him; and be it further
  
 
4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
5presented to the family of Rev. Lorenzo Alexander as an 
6expression of our deepest sympathy.
