<reference>5 ILCS 420/Art. 5 heading new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><reference>5 ILCS 420/5-101 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>Amends the Illinois Governmental Ethics Act. Creates the Legislative Ethics Reform Task Force. Specifies the composition of the Task Force. Charges the Task Force with studying the provisions of the Code of Conduct in Article 3 of the Illinois Governmental Ethics Act and identifying provisions that need to be expanded or clarified, proposing specific penalties for violations of the Act, and enhancing the level of reporting required in the statements of economic interest. Requires the Task Force to report its findings to the Senate, the House of Representatives, Office of Attorney the General, Office of the Legislative Inspector General, and the Legislative Ethics Commission by January 1, 2014. Repeals the provision that creates the Task Force on January 1, 2015. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
