IV, Sec. 11 Proposes to amend the Legislature Article of the Illinois Constitution. Provides that, for a term of office beginning on or after the date the amendment is declared adopted, a General Assembly member shall receive a salary in an amount equal to the salary that a General Assembly member was entitled to receive on the date the amendment is declared adopted. Prohibits that amount from being increased thereafter except by constitutional amendment or initiative.
