<reference>105 ILCS 5/27-22.05</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the School Code. Permits school boards to approve Advanced Placement (AP) computer science courses as equivalent to high school mathematics or science. If approved, requires a school district to denote on a student's transcript that AP computer science qualifies as a math-based, quantitative course for students who take the course in their senior year. Provides that, in order for a school board to approve AP computer science as equivalent to high school mathematics, the student must be concurrently enrolled in or have successfully completed Algebra II.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
