<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>105 ILCS 5/10-21.9</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 122, par. 10-21.9</aliasreference><reference>105 ILCS 5/34-18.5</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 122, par. 34-18.5</aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the School Code. Provides that certain provisions requiring applicants, as a condition of employment with a school district, to authorize a fingerprint-based criminal history records check do not apply to a certified or licensed teacher who has retired from employment with a school district and is again applying for employment with a school district as a teacher if that person (i) submitted to a fingerprint-based criminal history records check as a condition of employment with a school district within the last 10 years, as of the date of application, and (ii) signs an affidavit stating that he or she has not been convicted of any crime since that check was performed, which affidavit shall be in a form as determined by the State Board of Education and filed with the school district. Makes technical corrections.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
