SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Tim Jansen of Bartelso, who passed away 
4on December 2, 2012; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Tim Jansen was born on February 3, 1967, in 
6Breese; his parents were Marjorie "Margie" (nee Gebke) Jansen 
7and Paul Jansen; he married Brenda Kluemke on January 28, 1995, 
8at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Bartelso; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Tim Jansen was the owner and operator of MacJennas 
10Restaurant in Bartelso; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Tim Jansen was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic 
12Church in Bartelso; he was also a 15-year veteran of the Santa 
13Fe Fire Protection District in Bartelso, Bartelso Knights of 
14Columbus Council 4745, and the 7 Levee Club in Bartelso; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Tim Jansen was an avid deer hunter and loved 
16spending time with his family and friends on the river and at 
17the clubhouse; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Tim Jansen was preceded in death by his father; 
19his mother-in-law, Bernadette (nee Varel) Kluemke; his dear 
20uncle, Fr. James Jansen; and his many aunts and uncles; and

1    WHEREAS, Tim Jansen is survived by his wife, Brenda; his 
2daughters, Mackenna and Jenna Jansen; his siblings, Tony 
3(Brenda) Jansen, Lynn (Louie) Loepker, Jeff (Sonja) Jansen, Joe 
4(Sandy) Jansen, and Theresa (Jim) Ghormley; his father-in-law, 
5Gerhard Kluemke; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Karen 
6(Linus) Ripperda, Brian (Sam) Kluemke, Craig (Tanya) Kluemke, 
7and Danny (Shelly) Kluemke; and his many nieces and nephews; 
8therefore, be it
  
 
9    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL 
10ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
11his family and friends, the passing of Tim Jansen; and be it 
12further
  
 
13    RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be 
14presented to the family of Tim Jansen as an expression of our 
15sympathy.
