| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened at |
| 3 | | the death of United States Army Specialist Trevor Pinnick of |
| 4 | | Lawrenceville, who was killed in action in Panjway, Afghanistan |
| 5 | | on June 12, 2012; and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, SPC Trevor Pinnick joined the Army out of high |
| 7 | | school and was deployed to Afghanistan in December of 2011; he |
| 8 | | served with the 1st Battalion, 37th Field Artillery Regiment, |
| 9 | | 3rd Stryker Brigade Combat Team of the 2nd Infantry Division, |
| 10 | | out of Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, SPC Trevor Pinnick is survived by his wife, |
| 12 | | Martha; his daughter, Melody; his parents, Thomas and Nancy |
| 13 | | Pinnick; his brother, Thomas Pinnick Jr.; and his sisters, |
| 14 | | Kayla Lynn and Bethany Rose; and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, SPC Trevor Pinnick's patriotism and courage will |
| 16 | | be remembered fondly by his loving family, his fellow soldiers, |
| 17 | | and the citizens of our grateful nation; therefore, be it
|
| 18 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL |
| 19 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
| 20 | | his family and friends, the passing of SPC Trevor Pinnick; and |
| 21 | | be it further
