SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are deeply 
3saddened to learn of the death of Jeffery  Dean "JD" Stelle of 
4Bloomington, who passed way on September 27, 2012; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Jeffery Stelle was born on March 4, 1951, in 
6Detroit, Michigan to Victor Dean and Katherine Stelle; he moved 
7to Bloomington-Normal in 1953, and lived there for the rest of 
8his life; he graduated from Normal Community High School in 
91969, and from Illinois State University in 1974; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Jeffery Stelle founded Stelle Construction, Inc. 
11in 1979; he was the proprietor of multiple corporate entities 
12in the Bloomington-Normal area, including Stelle Construction, 
13Stelle Homes, and Katie's Kids Learning Center; he was a 
14certified real estate broker in Illinois for more than 30 
15years; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Jeffery Stelle married Dona Comer on January 30, 
172011; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Jeffery Stelle as preceded in death by his father, 
19Victor Dean Stelle; and
  
 
20    WHEREAS, Jeffery Stelle is survived by his wife, Dona

1Comer-Stelle; his mother, Katherine Stelle; his daughters, 
2Katie (Scott) Stelle-Mardis and Dr. Lacey Stelle; his brother, 
3Lenville (Gina Walls) Stelle; his nephews, Dr. Jacob (Kim) 
4Stelle and Jon Stelle; and his great-nephews, Elijah and Jack 
5Stelle; and his first wife, Carol Hinshaw; therefore, be it
  
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL 
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
8Jeffery Stelle, and we extend our sincere condolences to his 
9family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
10further
  
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
12presented to the family of Jeffery Stelle as an expression of 
13our deepest sympathy.
