SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are deeply 
3saddened to learn of the death of Jerry Hester of Peoria, who 
4passed away on November 16, 2012; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Jerry Hester was born on July 2, 1944, in St. 
6Louis, Missouri to Elizabeth Frazier Robinson; he married 
7Bonnie Slaughter on July 27, 1968; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Jerry Hester worked as a counselor for ERS; he was 
9an avid bowler, participating in many bowling leagues; and
  
 
  
10    WHEREAS, Jerry Hester was preceded in death by his mother, 
11Elizabeth Frazier Robinson, and his grandparents; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Jerry Hester is survived by his wife, Bonnie; his 
13son, Jerry (Simone) Hester II; his daughters, Lorry Saunders 
14and Amie Hester; his brothers, Earl Maupins and Norvelle 
15Maupins; his grandchildren, Jevon, Ashton, Breonna, Jordyn, 
16Imani, and Jerry III; and a host of other family members and 
17friends; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
20Jerry Hester, and we extend our sincere condolences to his

1family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
2further
  
 
3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
4presented to the family of Jerry Hester as an expression of our
