SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are deeply 
3saddened to learn of the death of Dennis P. Skoff of Beach 
4Park, who passed away on November 12, 2012; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Dennis Skoff was born on October 15, 1939, in 
6Waukegan; he married Judy A. Hubert in Waukegan in 1964; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Dennis Skoff worked as an I.T. Systems Analyst for 
8Abbott Laboratories for 27 years; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Dennis Skoff was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic 
10Church in New Smyrna Beach, Florida and St. Anastasia Church in 
11Waukegan; he was a member of Bonnie Brook Golf Course in 
12Waukegan and enjoyed golfing, fishing, billiards, card games, 
13bowling, and spending time with his grandchildren; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Dennis Skoff was preceded in death by his son, 
15Bill; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Dennis Skoff is survived by his wife, Judy; his 
17son, Tom (Stacey) Skoff; his daughters, Cathy (Ken) Nelson and 
18Stacey "Monkey" Harris; his grandchildren, Casey, Chloe, and 
19Glenn Harris, Josh and Maggie Nelson, and Colby Skoff; and his 
20sister, Jackie Bishop; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Dennis Skoff, and we extend our sincere condolences to his 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Dennis Skoff as an expression of our 
8deepest sympathy.
