SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3learn of the death of
Steven L. Wrobel of Zion, formerly of 
4North Chicago, who passed away on June 26, 2012; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Steven Wrobel was born on September 8, 1956, at 
6the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Steven Wrobel served as the grounds manager at the 
8Waukegan Port District for the last 21 years; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Steven Wrobel was a member of the Friends of Bill 
10W and the National and Lake Shore Harley Owners Groups; he was 
11also a devoted volunteer with the Elder Care program; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Steven Wrobel enjoyed spending time with his 
13family and friends, riding his Harley-Davidson, and 
14horticulture; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Steven Wrobel was preceded in death by his 
16parents, Don and Patricia Wrobel; his mother-in-law, Tommie Lou 
17White; and his grandson, Todd Watts; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Steven Wrobel is survived by his devoted wife, 
19Helen Wrobel; his children, Becky (Kit) Kress, Barb (Ben)

1Satterwhite, Tammy Wrobel, and Andy (Melinda) Salyer; his 12 
2grandchildren; his 4 great-grandchildren; his brother, Randy 
3Wrobel; and his sisters, Cheryl Green and Judy Hamilton; 
4therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL 
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
7his family and friends, the passing of Steven L. Wrobel; and be 
8it further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to the family of Steven Wrobel as an expression of 
11our sympathy.
