| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Edward "Ken" Rozga of Lake Villa, who |
| 4 | | recently passed away; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, He married Mary 61 years ago on November 11, 1950 |
| 6 | | and moved to Lake Villa 5 years later; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, He was a charter member of Prince of Peace |
| 8 | | Catholic Church and worked for Amana for 33 years; he was a |
| 9 | | veteran of the United States Navy, a member of the Wheeling |
| 10 | | VFW, and past president of the Venetian Village Civic |
| 11 | | Association; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Edward Rozga was the beloved husband of Mary; the |
| 13 | | cherished father of Constance (Thomas) Eadon, Nancy (David) |
| 14 | | Jucius, Douglas (Patricia), Wayne (Sharon), and Phillip |
| 15 | | (Jennifer); the grandfather of Michael, John, Renee, Amanda, |
| 16 | | Rhett, and Stephanie; and the brother of Donald and the late |
| 17 | | Arlene Churchill and Lorraine Winiecke; therefore, be it
|
| 18 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL |
| 19 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
| 20 | | his family and friends, the passing of Edward Rozga; and be it |
