| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Milton Delove Cannon, Sr. of Waukegan, |
| 4 | | who passed away on May 3, 2012; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, He was born in Yazoo City, Mississippi on February |
| 6 | | 7, 1916; he was the son of Milton Cannon and Mary Emma Crane |
| 7 | | Davenport; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, |
| 9 | | Michael Frederick; his wife, Marjorie; and his siblings, Eugene |
| 10 | | Cannon and Thelma Wallace; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Milton Delove Cannon, Sr. is survived by his sons, |
| 12 | | Milton (Karen) D. Cannon, Jr. and Vincent (Jill) Cannon; his |
| 13 | | grandchildren, Byron, Kenneth, Pajet, Piper, and Shane; his 6 |
| 14 | | great-grandchildren; and a host of nephews and nieces; |
| 15 | | therefore, be it

| 16 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL |
| 17 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
| 18 | | his family and friends, the passing of Milton Cannon, Sr.; and |
| 19 | | be it further
