SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Jaylynn Ferrell of Harrisburg, who passed 
4away on February 29, 2012; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, She was born on November 2, 1989, in Paducah, 
6Kentucky, to Dennis Jay and Patty (Peters) Ferrell; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, She was a registered nurse at Harrisburg Medical 
8Center Special Care; she was a member of the First Baptist 
9Church of Harrisburg, where she taught Sunday school for 
103-year-olds; and

  
 
11    WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her maternal 
12grandfather, Thomas Peters; her great-grandparents, Marie and 
13George Emmel, Wimpy and Florence Hombirg, and Ralph and Audie 
14Ferrell; and her special uncle, Gene Ferrell; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Jaylynn Ferrell is survived by her parents, Dennis 
16and Patty Ferrell; her brother, Austin Ferrell; her paternal 
17grandparents, Ann and Dennis Ferrell; her maternal 
18grandmother, Anita Peters; her uncle, Roger Peters; her 
19cousins, Kevin and Thomas Peters and their mother, Kim; and 
20several great-aunts and uncles; she is also survived by her 
21First Baptist Church family, especially her 3-year-old Sunday

1school class, her nursing friends, and her Pope County High 
2School and Harrisburg High School friends; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
5her family and friends, the passing of Jaylynn Ferrell; and be 
6it further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to the family of Jaylynn Ferrell as a symbol of our 
9sincere sympathy.
