SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Timothy D. Spaulding of Alton, who passed 
4away on March 13, 2012; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, He was born in Alton on November 11, 1953, the son 
6of the late Jack and Mary (McGill) Spaulding; he had been going 
7to Lakes Wales, Florida as a winter resident for several years; 
8and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, He was a retired Fire Chief for the city of Alton 
10and was a veteran of Vietnam, serving in the United States  
11Navy; he was an avid fisherman and hunter; he enjoyed traveling 
12and spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren; 
13and

  
 
14    WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents and his 
15brother, Tom Spaulding; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Timothy Spaulding is survived by his wife, Sandra 
17C. "Sandi" Spaulding; his daughter, Krista "Nikki" Ludwig 
18(Dan); his sons, Christopher "Chris" Spaulding, Timothy 
19"Timmy" Spaulding II (Christine Muntz), and Matthew "Matt" 
20Spaulding; his sisters, Carol Straub (Lynn) and Elizabeth 
21Walker (David); his brother, James "Jim" Spaulding (Mary); his

1grandchildren, Katelyn Ludwig, Rylie Ludwig, and Tessa Muntz; 
2and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
5his family and friends, the passing of Timothy Spaulding; and 
6be it further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to the family of Timothy Spaulding as a symbol of our 
9sincere sympathy.
