SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Aaron R. Jacobs of McHenry, who passed away on February 2, 2012; and

WHEREAS, He was born on November 18, 1951, in Sandwich, to the late Armand and Ann (Turner) Jacobs; on August 26, 1972, he married Deborah Walper in Oswego; and

WHEREAS, He recently retired and enjoyed being a "snowbird" in Sarasota, Florida; he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren; he was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church; and

WHEREAS, He enjoyed playing golf, traveling, and spending mornings on the beach; some of his most cherished times were coaching his son's baseball teams, and then sharing the coaching experience with his son while coaching his grandson; he and his daughter shared the love of the Chicago White Sox, and loved watching the games together; and

WHEREAS, He will be remembered as a kind and generous man who always had a positive outlook on life and a smile on his face; and

WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his father and mother; his mother-in-law, Joann Walper; his aunt, Lee Jacobs; and his brother-in-law, Brad Walper; and

WHEREAS, Aaron Jacobs is survived by his wife, Debbie; his children, Tim (Carrie) Jacobs and Sarah Jacobs; his grandchildren, Drew, Cheyenne, Morgan, and Tyler; his father-in-law, Robert Walper; his brother, Allan (Katy) Jacobs; his brother-in-law, Steven Walper; his sister-in-law, Sheri (Dave) Musser; his nieces, Sayah Jacobs, Amy (Mike) Reda, and Nicole Musser; and his nephews, Matthew and Mark Musser; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Aaron Jacobs; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Aaron Jacobs as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
