| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of
Florence W. Mazewski, nee Heider, who |
| 4 | | passed away on February 10, 2012; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Florence Mazewski was the devoted wife of the |
| 6 | | former President of the Polish National Alliance and Polish |
| 7 | | American Congress, Aloysius A. Mazewski, for over 20 years; she |
| 8 | | was always at his side and was fondly considered by many as the |
| 9 | | First Lady of Polonia; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Florence Mazewski was the beloved wife of the late |
| 11 | | Aloysius A. Mazewski; the loving mother of Al (Janice) Mazewski |
| 12 | | and Marilyn Mazewski Potasiak; the dear mother-in-law of the |
| 13 | | late Joseph T. Potasiak; the cherished grandmother of Alaina, |
| 14 | | Brittney, Candice, and Douglas; the fond sister of Ted Heider |
| 15 | | and the late Irv (Sue) Heider; and the dear aunt and great aunt |
| 16 | | to many; therefore, be it

| 17 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL |
| 18 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
| 19 | | her family and friends, the passing of Florence W. Mazewski; |
| 20 | | and be it further
