| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Mother Ida B. Clayborn of Blytheville, |
| 4 | | Arkansas, who passed away on January 4, 2012; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, She was born December 11, 1923 in Brookfield, |
| 6 | | Mississippi to Albert Patton and Pearl Former Patton; she was |
| 7 | | saved and baptized at Nehemiah Temple Church of God in Christ |
| 8 | | and was a faithful member; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, She was a caring and giving woman, kind to her |
| 10 | | pastor and the Chester Caldwell family; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, She was an excellent cook and was known for her |
| 12 | | joy and laughter; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents; her |
| 14 | | husband, Gus Clayborn; and her siblings, Clara Mae Key, O.C. |
| 15 | | Patton, Christola Patton, Albert Patton Jr., W.C. Toliver, A.D. |
| 16 | | Patton Sr., Joe Patton, Freddie B. Patton, and Winnie Bell |
| 17 | | Strong; and

| 18 | | WHEREAS, Mother Ida B. Clayborn is survived by her sister, |
| 19 | | Juanita (Granville) Love; her brother, R.D. (Mary) Patton; and |
| 20 | | her nieces, nephews, and other relatives; therefore, be it
