| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Vincent G. Volpe of Aurora, who passed |
| 4 | | away on November 7, 2011; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, He was born September 4, 1938 in Chicago; and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, He was the driving force in planning the future of |
| 7 | | the Aurora Sportsman Club; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, He was known for his smile and sense of humor; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred |
| 10 | | and Paul Volpe; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Vincent Volpe is survived by his wife, Geraldine |
| 12 | | Volpe; his children, Deborah Volpe, Vincent Paul Volpe, and |
| 13 | | Karen Volpe; his brother, John (Barb) Volpe; his sisters, Joy |
| 14 | | Adams and Rosemary (Gary) Jones; his brother-in-law, Tony |
| 15 | | Stasney; and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

| 16 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL |
| 17 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
| 18 | | his family and friends, the passing of Vincent Volpe; and be it |
