SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3learn of the death of
Charles R. Hendricks Sr. of Buffalo 
4Grove, who passed away on January 20, 2012; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Charles Hendricks Sr. was born on April 19, 1941, 
6in Chicago; his parents were Roger and Carolyn Hendricks; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Charles Hendricks Sr. served on the Buffalo Grove 
8Police and Fire Commission Board for 12 years and spent 10 
9years as a Buffalo Grove Village Trustee; he was also a former 
10supervisor at AT&T; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Charles Hendricks Sr. loved to play golf, fish, 
12attend his grandchildren's events, and vacation in Key West; 
13and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Charles Hendricks Sr. was a member and past Master 
15of King Oscar Lodge #855; he was also a past president of the 
16Buffalo Grove Rotary Club; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Charles Hendricks Sr. is survived by his wife of 
1847 years, Dolores (nee Rose); his children, Mary Beth (Robert) 
19Strauss, Charles R. Hendricks Jr. and David (Patty) Hendricks; 
20his grandchildren, Thomas and Katherine Strauss, Alyssa and

1Karlee Hendricks, and Ethan and Luke Hendricks; his brother, 
2Leo (Caroline) McDermott; his mother-in-law, Agnes Rose; and 
3his many cherished family members and friends; therefore, be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL 
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
6his family and friends, the passing of Charles R. Hendricks 
7Sr.; and be it further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to the family of Charles Hendricks Sr. as an 
10expression of our sympathy.
