SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3learn of the death of
Dolores F. Jones of Aurora, who passed 
4away on November 22, 2011; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Dolores Jones was born on April 21, 1940; she was 
6the daughter of Arthur and Nancy Towles; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Dolores Jones served as a devoted, dedicated, and 
8compassionate nurse at Jennings Terrace for many years; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Dolores Jones was preceded in death by her son, 
10Kenneth J. Fews Sr.; her granddaughter, Tameeka Bailey; and her 
11grandson, Titus Fews; and

  
 
12    WHEREAS, Dolores Jones is survived by her loving husband of 
1332 years, Gerald A. Jones; her children, Tracy Fews and Nico 
14Ponquinette; her step-children, Jacqueline (Keith) Brown, 
15Gerald (Kathy) Jones Jr., and Raymond Jones; her grandchildren, 
16Kenneth Joseph Fews Jr., Chaundra Thomas, Andre Meeks, 
17Starleshea Nico Fews, Kenneth A. Ponquinette, and Niya A. 
18Ponquinette; her sisters, Bonnie Clayton, Harriett Towles, and 
19Joyce (Clarence) Washington; and her many great-grandchildren, 
20nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
3her family and friends, the passing of Dolores F. Jones; and be 
4it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Dolores Jones as an expression of 
7our sympathy.
