| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Edward Davis of Kenosha, Wisconsin, |
| 4 | | formerly of North Chicago, who passed away on July 18, 2011; |
| 5 | | and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, He was an employee of the Veterans Administration |
| 7 | | Medical Center for many years; he later enlisted in the United |
| 8 | | States Army in 1968 and received an honorable discharge; he was |
| 9 | | also a faithful employee of North Chicago Community High |
| 10 | | School; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Edward Davis leaves to cherish his memory his |
| 12 | | wife, Charlot Davis; his children, Eddie "Bo" Davis, Maria |
| 13 | | Davis, Melissa Thomas, Lisa Davis, Raeshe Davis, Lashon (Gill) |
| 14 | | Whitaker, Glen C. Pitts Sr., T'Shaun Taylor, De'Vonte |
| 15 | | (Cyenthia) Taylor, Angela Davis, and Kendra Davis; his 43 |
| 16 | | grandchildren; his 20 great-grandchildren; his brothers, Eli |
| 17 | | Davis, John Hughly, and William (Charlene) Scott; and his |
| 18 | | sister, Ollie (Ron) Nash; therefore, be it

| 19 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL |
| 20 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
