| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Blanche O. Wille of Godfrey, who passed |
| 4 | | away on August 30, 2011; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, She was born on January 3, 1921, in Carlinville, |
| 6 | | the daughter of Albert and Freda (Rhoades) Ealey; she married |
| 7 | | Victor C. Wille on September 21, 1938, at St. Patrick's |
| 8 | | Catholic Church in Alton; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, She spent the early years of her working life as a |
| 10 | | bookkeeper employed by local businesses; she later started |
| 11 | | Wille Income Tax Service, which she operated successfully for |
| 12 | | nearly 25 years; she served on the Channel 9 Education Panel, |
| 13 | | was a lifetime founding member of St. Ambrose Church, was a |
| 14 | | member of the St. Ambrose Altar Society and the Daughters of |
| 15 | | Isabella, and served as President of the Diocesan Council of |
| 16 | | Catholic Women; and
|
| 17 | | WHEREAS, She held office as treasurer for several local |
| 18 | | organizations including the Sportsmen's Club Auxiliary, the |
| 19 | | Godfrey Democrats, and the Crisis Food Center; she served on |
| 20 | | the Godfrey Democratic Precinct Committee as chairman of the |
| 21 | | Precinct Committeemen; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor; |
| 2 | | her parents; her eldest son, Thomas A. Wille; her |
| 3 | | granddaughter, Valerie A. (Parker) Spurrier; her grandsons, |
| 4 | | Samuel W. Parker and John T. Fosko; her brother, Willis Ealey; |
| 5 | | her brother and sister-in-law, Albert and Elizabeth (Betty) |
| 6 | | Ealey; and her sons-in-law, Ralph Marberry and Thomas Parker; |
| 7 | | and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Blanche Wille is survived by her children, Arlene |
| 9 | | K. Marberry, Barbara A. Parker, Richard D. (Dianne) Wille, Mary |
| 10 | | L. (Harold) Brand, Theresa M. Fuchs and friend, David Crouch, |
| 11 | | Patricia H. (Dr. Scott) Fosko, and Brenda E. (Maurice) Cope; |
| 12 | | her daughter-in-law, Sharold A. (Thomas) Wille; her |
| 13 | | sister-in-law, Evelyn Ealey; her 21 grandchildren; her 23 |
| 14 | | great-grandchildren; her 7 great-great-grandchildren; and |
| 15 | | numerous nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
|
| 16 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL |
| 17 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
| 18 | | her family and friends, the passing of Blanche Wille; and be it |
| 19 | | further
|
| 20 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 21 | | presented to the family of Blanche Wille as a symbol of our |
| 22 | | sincere sympathy.
