SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Wanda J. Glogovsky of North Chicago, who 
4passed away on May 21, 2011; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, She was born March 3, 1917 in North Chicago and 
6married William Glogovsky in 1937 at Holy Rosary Church; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, She retired from Fansteel Corporation in 1960 
8after 17 years of employment; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, She was a member of Queen of Peace church in North 
10Chicago and loved to bake and spend time with her family; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her husband, William; 
12her brother, Walter Tubek; and her sisters, Blanche Morrissey 
13and Jeanette Kalisz; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Wanda Glogovsky is survived by her children, Tom 
15(Judy) Glogovsky, Barbara (Joe) Marocco, and James Glogovsky; 
16her 31 grandchildren, her 3 great-grandchildren;  and her 5 
17great-great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with

1her family and friends, the passing of Wanda Glogovsky; and be 
2it further
  
 
3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
4presented to the family of Wanda Glogovsky as a symbol of our
