| 1 | | SENATE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Officer John G Sweitz, who passed away |
| 4 | | June 24, 1928; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Officer Sweitz was employed by the Cook County |
| 6 | | Sheriff's Highway Police, where he served faithfully; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Officer Sweitz was survived by his wife and three |
| 8 | | small children; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Officer Sweitz dedicated and gave his life to |
| 10 | | protecting and serving the people of Illinois; therefore, be it
|
| 11 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL |
| 12 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
| 13 | | his family and friends, the passing of Officer John Sweitz; and |
| 14 | | be it further
|
| 15 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 16 | | presented to the family of Officer Sweitz as an expression of |
| 17 | | our sympathy.
