HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate the members of the 
4St. Teresa girls cross country team on winning the Class 1A 
5State championship in Peoria on November 5, 2012; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, The St. Teresa girls cross country team completed 
7the regular season with a record of 10-2 and finished the year 
8by winning their 3rd consecutive Class 1A State championship; 
9and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, The St. Teresa Girls cross country team took 
11command of the meet and won by scoring 41 points; senior Ivy 
12Handley finished her career by winning the individual State 
13championship; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, The St. Teresa Girls cross country team is coached 
15by Todd Vohland; the team's assistant coach is Brenda Moore; 
16and

  
 
17    WHEREAS, The members of the St. Teresa Girls cross country 
18team are Emily Burgener, Megan Burgener, Kelsey Cleary, Camila 
19Dayson, Rachel Devereux, Lauren Evelti, Ivy Handley, Ashton 
20Jerger, Cailin Jerger, Amber Johnson, Anna Keyes, Katlyn 
21Pruitt, Emma Reedy, Katelyn Sass, Bree Tschosik, Audrey

2    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
3NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
4we congratulate the members of the St. Teresa Girls cross 
5country team on this great accomplishment and wish them 
6continued success in the future; and be it further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to the St. Teresa girls cross country team as a 
9symbol of our respect and esteem.
